GET WISDOM -PASTOR TAIWO ODUKOYA Print E-mail

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom….”  What a piece of  advice.

It was Lord Chesterfield who said “In seeking wisdom thou art wise; in imagining that thou hast attained it - thou art a fool.”

Solomon sought wisdom and God gave him more than a fair share, which made him the wisest king that ever lived.

Lucius Annaeus Seneca said, “No man was ever wise by chance.”

It thus becomes the habit of responsible leaders to deliberately and constantly seek wisdom.

It is commonly believed however that one of the many sources of acquiring wisdom is through experience – ours and those of others.

It is therefore imperative for a wise leader to employ the benefits of hindsight to make better and wiser decisions.

Consciously walk in the fear of the Lord, for this is the beginning of wisdom.

You will eat the good of the land in Jesus name!
